La versión de Tom Morello del “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” de AC/DC está a punto de ver la luz

Appleseed Recordings, etiqueta discográfica especializada en el folk más reivindicativo, celebra este año 21 años de trayectoria con un nuevo lanzamiento llamado 'Appleseed's 21st Anniversary: Roots and Branches'.

Como podréis imaginar, el folk protagoniza el tracklist del LP, con un total de 57 canciones de artistas en las que participan artistas Donovan, John Wesley Harding o Jesse Winchester. Más allá de lo obvio, también incluye un buen puñado de curiosidades, entre las que se encuentran varias versiones de Bruce Springsteen (concretamente "We Sall Overcome" y "If I Had A Hammer (The Hammer Song)", ambas de Pete Seeger) y un cover de AC/DC protagonizado por Tom Morello. Y es que, el guitarrista de Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave y Prophets of Rage, entre otros proyectos, se ha atrevido a versionar "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", tema que daba nombre al álbum homónimo del 76.
