Guns N' Roses publica un directo en una ciudad plagada de mormones

Entre su población, el Movimiento de los Santos de los Últimos Días posee numerosísimos adeptos, más conocidos como mormones, haciendo de ella una urbe singular en esos términos. Pero claro, no todos sus habitantes profesan ciegamente la religión, y también hay espacio para rendir devoción al mejor rock and roll en directo.
El concierto ofrecido en ella ha sido el elegido por Guns N’ Roses para inaugurar su serie ‘Not in This Lifetime Selects’, consistente en una serie de fragmentos en directo que la banda de Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan y compañía divulgará a lo largo de las próximas semanas.
En el vídeo, grabado con medios profesionales y con un fantástico sonido, Guns N’ Roses interpreta el clásico del ‘Appetite for Destruction’ (1987) “It’s So Easy”; “Chinese Democracy”, que daba título a su último álbum de estudio; y “Double Talkin’ Jive”, contenido en el primero de los dos ‘Use Your Illusion’ (1991). Los solos de guitarra de Slash cobran, cómo no, un peso crucial.
El show data el pasado 29 de octubre de 2019, se enmarca en la ya dilatadísima gira de reunión 'Not in This Lifetime... Tour' y tuvo lugar en el Vivint Smart Home Arena de Salt Lake City.

Lo que tienen que hacer si es que aún les queda calidad en tareas compositivas es meterse en un estudio de grabación y currarse un futuro álbum de la banda porque directos en video hay a patadas de este grupo.

No sé a cuento de qué viene todo el rollo de los mormones como si tuviese algo que ver con el contenido del video. Luego os quejáis de las declaraciones de Sherpa, pero los de izquierdas, y este medio lo es y mucho (¿alguien ha dicho Muniesa?), te cuelan un panfleto para presentar un simple video con tres canciones de GN'R y se supone que hay que reírles la gracia. Y lo dice un tío que es ateo, que a mí la religión me la suda y pienso que es el mayor de los males de este mundo. Pero no, así no se da una noticia.
